Another Cringing Apprentice Episode with a Green Twist

Another week, another cringing episode of the Apprentice and another slightly pointless task for the devotees. This week, they were asked to create a greetings card and a reason to send it. It is hard to express quite how tragic this episode became as the pit became ever deeper and wider.
The Hypocrite and the Ignoramus
I don't know who was worse. The team leader - Kevin - seemed only to love himself more than his sports car. He told one of the buyers that if they didn't buy the cards, they would somehow be ostracised as environmental enemies. Meanwhile the ginger one who came up with the idea told Clinton cards confidently that she actually buys fewer cards herself because of her concern for the environment but that was a reason to buy this card?! They even managed to re-invent Earth Day as "Love your Planet Day".
I still can't believe it!
It's simply beyond comprehension. All the buyers immediately questioned the idea. Sir Alan immediately questioned the idea. A single celled amoeba probably would have questioned the idea.
And what were Tesco playing at?
The only mystery to me is why Tesco even bought 6,000 of them. I can only imagine that at (presumably) about £500, the good PR of looking like the nice guys was well worth the cost. No doubt they'll stick them on the shelves in a super-hyper-mega-store for 2 weeks and then throw them away.
Grrr!
I advise readers to make your own cards! It's fun and trust me - people (say) they like them! If you don't have time, there are quite a few fair trade and recycled cards here!
