Using our Site More Easily
This website has been designed with web standards and accessibility in mind. We have tested the site on modern web browsers and ensured that the main features work without javascript. We recommend Firefox 2+ because it is the most standards-compliant browser, it is open source technology, it is more secure for you, it makes our job easier and you will notice a better experience.
Tips
- Using the site without styling: The site will degrade nicely without styling as we use a table-less design
- Increasing the font-size: The site will work at font-size + about 100% for normal screen resolutions. Any higher and there isn't enough space for the display. Make sure you reload after resizing the text significantly so that the text flow remains inside the boxes.
- Links: All links are non-javascript and inside anchor tags
- Images: All fore-ground images have "alt" attributes enabling screen-readers to identify the image. Products always use the product name as the alt attribute. Background images are inside the style-sheets to help the browser cache the styles.
