You will notice that we have just switched to our new name "Compare Green Products" and our Domain to comparegreenproducts.co.uk. Don't forget to update your favourites. This is the most noticeable change we've made but there are many many more under the surface!

Nothing stays the same for very long on the internet. In keeping, we have made some changes to the layout of our site, added some new features and tidied some things up. We like the look though so it should still feel the same! We hope the changes are helpful and functioning. If you have a problem with anything please feedback to us.

We've upgraded again! Into the early hours, we have made some small changes to the site template - you'll notice the background and some nicer looking menus. We've given the blog a bit of an overhaul too - some bugs ironed out. On the front page we've made the categories more accessible too. We hope this helps people find more products more easily.

Some new features in the current upgrade! Most exciting is the campaigns feature. We are aiming to launch a new campaign every 1-2 months. Look out for our first current campaign running from around now to the end of April. Check it out here. Watch this space for the exciting launch on Saturday! We've also revamped the registration system so you can manage your info more easily and access exclusive offers!

The categorisation software is definitely in Beta mode right now. Observant visitors will see that some categories aren't perfectly defined yet! Please bear with us on this one, it will be improved ASAP.

We have added some new pages. The links page shows some interesting websites we've come across or websites we have exchanged links with. The press page gives a more detailed and structured overview of what we do for press people or anyone who is interested to find out more. The search page is a good place to start if you're looking for a specific green product. Enjoy!
New Feature!

This is a great little feature to help you browse products more naturally! When you click on a compare page - e.g. http://www.griinucompare.co.uk/compare/4 - Home Products look for the "Layout" switch - a dropdown menu next to the page switcher. You can switch between (currently) three views.
- Product List - traditional view with the products in rows like a list
- Image Grid - natural view with the images lined up in a grid so you can view 20-30 products at a glance on a single screen (hover the mouse over the image for the product name)
- Text List - quick view without images for visitors with slower connections - images take a bit longer to load, so you can turn them off to speed things up
99,950 Categorisations!

We've implemented a new automated categorising programme which has increased the number of categorisations* by 5! This means you can find products much more easily. Our category narrower application allows you to combine any 9 categories to create a managable list of products to browse.
This application is in its 'beta' stage currently so let us know if you find an incorrect categorisation.
*a categorisation is the connection of a product (eg E-cloth) to a category (eg Cleaning). On average products connect to between 5 and 10 categories.

Along with the site upgrade, the blog is now active and working! We are going to be contributing 2-3 posts a week and we'll try and mix it up with interesting ideas not only about griinu Compare but also about other things happening in the green world.

Version 2! We have recently upgraded griinu Compare in it's first major overhaul. New features include "comparison" and "favourites" as well as the activation of the login-system and the ratings and reviews. The look has changed a bit too so we hope you find it easy to use and attractive! All your feedback is most welcome - please send us a not on the (new) enquiry form!
