This handmade tapestry of a traditional Andean scene adds a vibrancy to any room. From Minka, whose profits from sales fund community improvements. Made in Peru. Minka is a non-profit organisation working with native communities in the poorest regions of Peru. A major objective is to ensure that a fair price is paid for traditional hand-knitted garments. It sells and provides other support (e. g. training) for producer groups in many areas including hand knitters around Juliaca, ceramic producers from Puno and a group which make musical instruments, also from Puno.
