The speed of composting is directly related to the number of worms you have in your wormery. In time, your worms will breed to give you more composting power, but if you want the fastest start possible this is the kit for you.
Our worms are despatched in special packaging to ensure they reach you in top condition but they will need to be transferred into bedding in the kit within 2 to 3 days. So, if the kit is being sent as a gift or will not be set-up on arrival please order it with a voucher, this can then be redeemed when the kit is ready for its worms.
Contains: Can-O-Worms housing, bedding block, 1kg native composting worms (approximately 1800 worms), 4kg Lime Mix, 2kg Worm Treat, 1 Moisture Mat and Instruction booklet. Plus: a copy of the bestselling book 'Worms Eat MY Garbage' by Mary Applehof.
