Four Finishes to Choose From:
Beeswax - Interior Use Only
The timber is hand waxed and then buffed to product a high polish and create a lustrous golden colour. Particularly recommended for use in houses, homes and conservatories. Beeswax requires minimial maintenance and is very easy to repair if damaged. Our most popular finish beeswax is shown on all our sofas.
Lacquer - Interior Use Only
The timber is coated twice with a low-gloss synthetic finish to produce a golden colour and is recommended for indoor swimming pools, spas, high humidity garden rooms and other moisture sensitive interior environments. The lacquer finish requires no maintenance and is hard wearing, however it must be treated with care so as not to chip or damage.
Natural - Exterior Use
The timber is hand sanded ultra smooth but left natural and uncoated to create a very light tone. Natural finish can be used in any environment but is most commonly recommended when the furniture is required to turn its classical silvery grey colour. Natural finish requires no maintenance other than a periodical scrub with natural soap and water to remove any natural build up.
Danish Oil - Exterior &, Interior Use
The timber is hand oiled using multiple layers of rich Danish Oil to create a darker full bodied colour. Traditionally used outdoors this finish is also to be recommended where a darker colour is preferred. Danish oil requires minimal maintenance indoor but will require re-oiling (a very simple process) thoughout the season when use outdoors to maintain a rich even colour.
