Regenerated distressed denim from Teddy Smith Jeans is used for the base of this apron, with linen for the waist tie. Handmade and individually designed by USED this apron has two shirt cuff pockets, with a trim round the neck and the hem. It is also decorated with vintage buttons.
Top to bottom measures 73cms. Across waist is 46cms.
Care Instructions: Wash at 30 degrees centigrade and hang to dry.
USED, by Helen Plaumer, is a one woman company based in Manchester. Helen has a varied past in textiles, from designing costumes for a tv animation company, to owning her own childrenswear business. She set up USED in 2006.
The ethos of USED is to recycle clothing that has been discarded, regenerating it into something else, giving new life to an otherwise unwanted garment. Each apron is handmade and individually designed. By the very nature of the process, no two aprons are ever the same.
The practical pockets are complimented by the pretty trims and buttons, making these aprons something to be worn for both work and play.
