1. Fill your Green Cone Caddy with organic kitchen waste.
2. Before emptying shake The Green Cone Accelerator Powder a couple of times over the waste in your Caddy.
3. Empty your Caddy into The Green Cone in your garden.
The Green Cone.
The Green Cone is a four part injection moulded unit comprising a lower basket installed below ground and forming the base for an upper assembly consisting of an inner and outer lidded plastic cone standing about 70cm above the ground. The unit takes all putrescible food waste including vegetable scraps, raw and cooked meat or fish, bones, dairy products and other organic kitchen waste e. g. tea bags, bread etc.
The patented design of the unit utilises a solar heating effect to promote circulation of air and enhance the naturally occurring aerobic digestion process.
The Green Cone System has been designed to ensure that air constantly flows through the waste in the digestive chamber, thereby facilitating the growth of micro-organisms. The waste material is rapidly converted into H2O, CO2, and the minimal residue is attenuated into the surrounding soil.
The Green Cone does not attract vermin, results in cleaner refuse bins and greatly facilitates recycling of other household waste. The Green Cone only needs emptying, when used by a typical household every two years and requires very little maintenance.
The Green Cone Kitchen Caddy.
The caddy provides a convenient and easy way to deposit organic food waste into the Green Cone. Suitable kitchen waste is emptied into the caddy and then into the cone on a daily basis. The caddy has a 4,5 litre capacity and has an activated carbon filter in the lid.
The Green Cone Shaker.
The shaker contains the Green Cone Accelerator Powder. It is recommended that the shaker is used every day. Just shake a couple of times over the waste in your caddy before emptying into your cone.
The Green Cone Accelerator Powder.
Add Green Cone Accelerator regularly to the Green Cone to ensure that a healthy, active bacterial population is maintained at all times. We recommend a couple of shakes into your Green Cone Kitchen Caddy every time it is emptied into your Green Cone.
