The LED Sunrise Alarm Clock operates both as an Alarm Clock that will wake you by simulating the rising sun using 5000lux of light and as a light therapy pad that is ideal for sufferers of S. A. D.
- The Alarm Clock - Its natural for humans to respond to the rising sun by slowly waking up. Your body will sense the first faint glimmer of dawn 15 minutes before the alarm time as the bottom row of lights will switch on and then gradually row-by-row the other lights will come on at 3 minute intervals.
The unit has a snooze and a built in bleeper alarm that will go off at your preset wake up time.
- The Light Therapy - Do you suffer from the winter blues - lethargy, depression and tiredness? The cause could be lack of sunlight during the winter months, a condition known as S. A. D (Seasonal Affective Disorder).
Switch all 72 bright LED lights on at a variable intensity (5000lux) to simulate natural daylight to help in the treatment of S. A. D.
