Algon is an Acetic Acid based algae and green growth remover. Suitable for use on all types of stone, wood, glass, tarmac, plastics and painted surfaces. Not suitable for use on marble or ferrous metals e. g. iron.
Algon is best applied in dry conditions, when rain is not expected. Dilute1 part to 3 parts water and spray or brush on with a broom wetting the surface evenly. There is no need to scrub or rinse after application. The surface should start to clear within a few days, helping restore the natural colour. Algon should remain effective for about one year.
Algon is non-toxic and safe to use around pets and children. However, it is an acidic substance so please be careful around ponds, as a change in the pH levels of a pond can have an effect on wildlife.
Algon will scorch foliage/grass only where it makes contact but will not harm the rest of the plant.
