These stylish lacquered bamboo bowls are hand-crafted by skilled craftsmen in Vietnam.
They are made using the traditional Vietnamese lacquer ware technique where layers of resin are applied one at a time to the handcarved bamboo bowl. Each resin layer is then skillfully sanded back until the smooth gloss finish you see is complete. The process takes six weeks from start to finish.
