Elizabeth Alder has created these stunning Limited Edition Earrings with either black stained wooden beads or green beads mixed with flower shaped re-crafted pewter brass. These Othello Earrings (black beads) or Desdemona Earrings (green beads) hang delicately, moving and reflecting the light at every turn. Hand linked together for a lasting quality.
Earring Length 10cm (12cm incl hook). Bead width is 0.8cm, length is 2cm.
Elizabeth Alder is a designer from New Zealand living in England. Blending together an organic farm upbringing in Gisborne, with the experience of a business degree, has meant fresh and sustainable thinking has shaped Elizabeth Alder Jewellery design.
The focus is on re-crafting, recycling and reinventing, with the vision to prove that beauty exists all around us, that we have enough to work with in this world as it is, without using up crucial energy resources in producing more.
The designs are always changing and evolving as materials are reframed into new forms. This constant change means that many of the designs are limited editions.
The goal is to offer an alternative to common ideology's of mass production. Elizabeth Alder offers individuality and uniqueness.
Each piece is sourced, designed and handcrafted by the designer herself.
