Jungle Berry aims to connect producers of stylish and original jewellery, accessories and crafts in developing countries with ethical consumers who demand quality fair trade products at competitive prices. The name Jungle Berry refers to the Amazonian acai berry from which their original range of jewellery was made back when they started out as a fair trade enterprise in 2004.
They currently source fair trade products from the Brazilian Amazon and Mexico. Sustainable production methods are at the heart of what they're about. They use naturally occurring materials wherever they can, like the berries, seeds, woods and natural fibres in their fair trade jewellery. But they've got to be sustainably harvested - that's a non-negotiable for them. They also promote the use of natural dyes in our fair trade rugs, bucking the trend to use synthetic dyes.
