To meet the environmental challenges faced by the footwear industry, Simple Shoes has organised their product line to reflect each product's level of sustainability. For Spring 2007, they introduced the GOOD, BETTER and BEST segments.

Green Toe represents Simple's effort to keep shoes from hurting the planet. Simple make Green Toe shoes that use only good, natural ingredients. No chemicals, no leather. No plastic. No poison. Shoes with less junk in them.
Simple make shoes out of stuff that comes from the earth. Simple shoes are made from jute, cork, bamboo, natural crepe rubber, and wool felt. We're pretty sure that if you buried your Green Toe shoes, they'd disappear. Simple are proud to lead the world in environmentally responsible footwear.
